Weddings I love weddings

So it was Jenny's big day yesterday! She was married to Brent Hill. It was so exciting!

Jen and Brent like to kiss... a lot!

a lot, a lot........... But thats a positive sign!

Jenny prepares to throw the bouquet.

Well little Shelby Taylor got it, so it looks like there is going to be a slight famine of marraiges for the time being. haha.

Explaination as to why the groom is bending over. Brent is really tall! so yea, work the rest out yourself. haha.

Brent's bro John got the garter, he was really excited about it.

I think my dad was a little sad, this was his first daughter to really go. So he hugged my sister for a long time.... haha.

It was lovely, lovely day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ruffles have Ridges

So my mom took on the daunting task of giving our poor shaggy dog Zane a haircut.

I know he's a beautiful doggy right? But yea, its hard to shave a dog who really doesn't want to hold still. So uhh.....here he is now.

Its a good thing he isn't vain, or I wouldn't be able to take him on walks anymore! As you may notice he has several ridges where the shaver comb was, so now we have opted to call him, Ruffles, because ruffles have ridges!

Summer! (a personal insight on the emotional reflections of marc)

Wow thats a long title. So I hope to make this post live up to what the title implies. Well the first has to deal with the song that you may be listening to right now, unless you figured out that you can change that. But if you are listening to what I have endearlingly placed first then you will completely understand what this about. Not that this is a depressing thing, but it in this last summer of my high school career, I gotta go my own way in somethings.

First of all my career as a lifeguard has just begun. )I hope to become buff and tan, though I'll probably just end up tan, which is ok I guess.) Different then my fellow friends in the food industry. Its not much of a social thing. I only know Marilee at my pool and they pretty much split us up. She's a morning guard and I am a night guard (not to be confused with the Knight Guard commonly found in the courts of kings and other monarchy.) Its a tough job but I'm glad I get to do it!

Second I'm going my own way in school. as it is my senior year I'm kind of specializing for the field that I'm going into later in life. This is totally different then many of my friends, but its going to be really good for me. PS I'm not going into the mercanary corp.

Third is my apparent obsession with utterly depressing music like the song that you may still be listening to (depending on the tolerance of High School Musical 2 or the speed of your reading. Though I sincerely hope that it is the former rather than the later for reasons obvious.) I don't know why I like it. Most people that I associate with like happy music, but................ yea. It doesn't reflect in any way the present emotional state in anyway. But in the famous words of Sid the Sloth "What? Its catchy!" (think it with a lateralized "s" and makes more sense.)

It was really cool at Prom. Rachel was so stunningly beautiful. Dinner was also amazing.

Man...check out my ride! Just kidding, there were replicas from other copy cats in our group but let it be known that it was me and Rachel who thought of it and di first the others are cheap copies.

All I have to say is that it was a blast.

Duration of Crush...

Haha, so I had a funny experince today. I was thinking about all the stupid high school drama. About how people "get together" and say that they were made for eachother. That they loved their significant other with all their heart, and then the next week they are not together, split up, and extremely angry with eachother.
I then heard a satire in English that helped illustrate this topic. It is about a man who is walking down the street and sees a "women." "She" has long flowing blonde hair, and he is instantly in LOVE. He dreams, as he walks toward her, of marrying her, and having children, and then growing old together. As he approaches "her" she turns around and lo and behold, ITS A MAN! So he then says. "Immediatly turned away for the intellegence that you are i fact a guy. Duration of crush, 17 seconds."

Well the long awaited post has finally arrived!

I extend my most humble apologies for taking so long to write this blog. I was plagued with many events that have taken my time and consideration and have prevented me from writing this. But alas no more excuses its time to WRITE! Well lets see what has happened since I last wrote. I went to the illustrious Jazz/Mad festival at NAU in flagstaff! We got a superior in our Jazz and a superiour with distinction in our madrigal portion. Basically it means that we got the highest score we could get. It was so much fun!

Say hello to Nick, awesome tenor man, room mate, and cousinface.

Kylie was just a little excited to go.

Our poor little snowman never had a chance. Shortly after he was created he met his demise but we still took a picture with him.

Most kids thought it would be fun to sleep on the way home, but not me. I discovered that if I put my snow gloves on my feet I looked strangley similar to an orangutan, which of course kept me occupied for the duration of the trip.

Then that very night it was our Co-ed dance! I went with the Extremely beautiful, talented, funny, witty, (happy thought.... haha) Katie Wilson. She is so much fun! We had dinner at our house. Yumm I love shishkabobs! We had lots of fun, and mom was wonderful and made the dinner and the table it was so beautiful.

Well as it has been many weeks since I wrote. I was able to participate in All-state choir that was fun. I went to Mt. View's Sadie Hawkins dance. I don't have picture of that but Heidi is amazing nonetheless.
I also turned 17! as such I became the proud owner of a Garden gnome. To those who know this has great significance to me. To those who don't ask me later and I will explain. Anywho... meet Nigel my garden gnome.

This summer I have the wonderful opprotunity to be a lifeguard! Woot me and Marille are gonig to have a great time out in Powell Jr. High. Woot!
