Well the long awaited post has finally arrived!

I extend my most humble apologies for taking so long to write this blog. I was plagued with many events that have taken my time and consideration and have prevented me from writing this. But alas no more excuses its time to WRITE! Well lets see what has happened since I last wrote. I went to the illustrious Jazz/Mad festival at NAU in flagstaff! We got a superior in our Jazz and a superiour with distinction in our madrigal portion. Basically it means that we got the highest score we could get. It was so much fun!

Say hello to Nick, awesome tenor man, room mate, and cousinface.

Kylie was just a little excited to go.

Our poor little snowman never had a chance. Shortly after he was created he met his demise but we still took a picture with him.

Most kids thought it would be fun to sleep on the way home, but not me. I discovered that if I put my snow gloves on my feet I looked strangley similar to an orangutan, which of course kept me occupied for the duration of the trip.

Then that very night it was our Co-ed dance! I went with the Extremely beautiful, talented, funny, witty, (happy thought.... haha) Katie Wilson. She is so much fun! We had dinner at our house. Yumm I love shishkabobs! We had lots of fun, and mom was wonderful and made the dinner and the table it was so beautiful.

Well as it has been many weeks since I wrote. I was able to participate in All-state choir that was fun. I went to Mt. View's Sadie Hawkins dance. I don't have picture of that but Heidi is amazing nonetheless.
I also turned 17! as such I became the proud owner of a Garden gnome. To those who know this has great significance to me. To those who don't ask me later and I will explain. Anywho... meet Nigel my garden gnome.

This summer I have the wonderful opprotunity to be a lifeguard! Woot me and Marille are gonig to have a great time out in Powell Jr. High. Woot!

Metronome..........................D

So music is now comsuming my life! Its truly amazing. On top of being in two choirs struggling to learn music which will performed at a NATIONAL convention, I decided to go and make the regional choir. I'm just kidding I'm so greatful I was able to make the regional choir, and by some stroke of profound luck I was able to make 5th chair! Its going to be so amazing but it is a daunting task to learn all that music. Also I am preparing to go with the Chamber choir to the Jazz/Mad festival in Flagstaff next weekend. Sometimes we have problems keeping time in our songs so Mr. A uses......... THE ALL POWERFUL METRONOME! Which is where we endearingly use the term "Metronome.......D" (Meant to be said in a Strongbad voice.) It's so much fun. Today we got to practice with 2/3 of our rthymn section. Justin our drummer was away but we await his return on Tuesday. All this Jazz makes me really excited. Maybe, when my older brother gets hom off his mission we can get together and do Jazz for wedding receptions or something. Maybe we could even make a CD! The Johnson Brothers present "Beads and a Bare Chest."

Or maybe we could go for something a little more.........................conservative.

Yes...... I guess maybe I should stick with Devon's face for marketing. He's the more photogenic one anywho.

Work, Work, Work!

That seems to be all I'm doing these days. I don't even have tiem to take pictures of it. But I'm not complaining. I working so hard because I am going to be going on a choir trip to Washington DC! I'm really quite excited! I'm also going to be attending a festival in Flagstaff next month which should prove fun. But alas such is my life. And I love it!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!

Well New Year's eve was two nights ago, and I had a blast! I got to go on a date with Calli. It was so much fun. We went out to Usary Pass ( I don't know what it is but the part two celebrations have been with Calli out at Usary Pass.) There we had a picnic and went on a hike and sat around the fire with a bunch of our friends!

It was an awesome time. I am really glad I got to be Calli's first date. After the desert we went over to Abby Wells's house for a New Years Celebration. Calli, Michelle, and Leighton seemed to be hitting the glass pretty hard for only 9 o'clock.

Can we all say:

I"M NOT DRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry its only Martinelli's. (Everythnig was completely non-alcohlic!). It was all a blast!

We all had so much fun messing around and being together. Stefani Barker got to come down and join in with the festivities! Her and Ashlee got a hold of my camera. I think they had just a little too much fun with it.

At the end of the night we brought in the New Year with a bang! And Calli did the awesomest thing I've ever seen. I guess I should have warned her against it though. Martinelli's is very hard on the stomach

Luckily when we left it was before all the drunks started out on the road so we arrived home safely. It was all good fun.

All in all, it was an amazing night!

MY BROTHERS MARRIED

Wow it finally happened! MY brother Stephen got married to his sweetheart Holly Butler for time and all eternity yesterday at 9 am. It was so beautiful. They just looked so happy when they came out of the temple!

There was a lot of smiling, and kissing....

And hand holding.............

........and more smiling

Then there was the reception. Tons of people came. It was a lot of fun. Of course I wasn't expected to do much there, but there was one thing I was looking forward too: Decorating Stephens car. haha. I had everything ready, dry erase markers, cans, paper, baloons, the whole nine yards. When I went out into the parking lot I discovered my brother had actually HIDDEN his car. Through much trouble and teaming up with the bridesmaids and groomsmen we eventually found the car. And we did it up right!

Muahaha, but of course his spirits couldn't be dampened. It was wonderful to see my brother and Holly so happy and so in love.

CHRISTMAS MEANS CARNAGE!!!!!!!!!

Not really but I do like that movie. But seriously Christmas was amazing! I woke up at like 3 in the morning. When I was it was 3 I thought to myself "oh well, I'll just go back to sleep." Well I thought wrong! The excitment kept bubbling up inside me and I couldn't go back to sleep! Finally my body was starting to relax when my little brother woke up and started whispering "Marc...............Marc...............Wake up Marc it's Christmas!" I, being the kind and understanding brother I am, played possum until he decided to quit! This didn't happen until he bounced my mattress a few times. Then he went back to bed. An hour later the little boy was down from his bed pushing and pulling on my leg saying "Marc! Wake up!" Now many of oyu may wonder why I didn't wake up at this point. My parents have a lovely rule that we are not aloud to bother them until 7:00 as it was only 5:30 I was wanting to try for a few more hours of sleep.

Finally the blessed hour came! Presents!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Santa did very well. He brought a couple magic tricks and a book on how to draw dragons!

I already know that I am gonig to have loads of fun with that!

Katie Wilson was hilarious as always and gave me an "easy button" ( don't worry there is a story behind it!)

I also got this camera so now I have my own pictures to put on my blog! It was all around a really great day at the Johnson house hold. Everybody was here (except for Devon of course.) Jenny came down from Bakersfield and Stephen brought Holly over.

And Grandpa Phil came down from Snowflake!

My cousins from Flagstaff came down tonight. They are staying till Stephen's wedding.

Oh look at Ausitn, he's 16 strong, and would like a date from nice young women, can't you see it on his face? haha. Just kidding! He's really doing just fine in Flagstaff. haha. But he wouldn't say no to one! Oh yea, and last night we went out to the Desert with the Andersons! I don't have any pictures but it was awesome!

Well that about sums up a wonderful Christmas Day!

Christmas is Coming the Goose is Getting Fat!

Yes. It is Christmas in 2 days. I like Christmas a lot. A lot, a lot. But I think I like Christmas eve more. In my family Christmas eve is the time when we talk the most about the birth of Christ. Every year we go out to Usary Pass on Christmas and its just a really special time. And my mom usually cries a lot. Its all really fun. But of course then it all ends. Thats ok though because then its CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
